Josh Gregory is a man who knows how to unleash his inner strength. From his early days lifting weights to his current status as a world-class strongman athlete, Josh has been on a journey of physical and mental transformation.
It all started towards the end of his senior year of high school in 2013. Josh had been lifting weights for a few months and was initially inspired by the legendary bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman. But then a couple of guys at his gym invited him to participate in a strongman show, and Josh decided to give it a shot. To his surprise, he took home first place in the teen division.
This experience opened up a whole new world for Josh. He started researching strongman competitions and found himself drawn to the sport. For the next ten years, he focused on powerlifting and became incredibly skilled at the squat, bench press, and deadlift.
He eventually started incorporating more strongman movements into his workouts, and it reignited his passion for lifting. Josh's dedication to training and hard work paid off. He's now a 2023 Ragnarok Games pro and ranked 11th in the world in the 2022 OSG.
But it's not just about the physical feats. For Josh, strongman is a way to tap into his inner strength and discover what he's truly capable of. It's a mindset that extends beyond the gym and into all aspects of his life.
